Bethany Zanetti, PA-C
“Working with seniors has been like love at first sight for me. Whether gentle or feisty, they’re full of personality, stories, and different life experiences to share.”
Physician assistant Bethany Zanetti likes to travel and explore new cultures, so it’s fitting that she first became interested in being a physician assistant while on a medical training trip in Nicaragua. “I was interested in pursuing something related to medicine,” she explains, “and when I met other physician assistants on the trip, I got inspired to take that direction with my career.”
Bethany started working with seniors even before she began graduate school, and the joys of her work are many. “It’s important to me to establish relationships with my patients and their families,” she says. “Medicine and the healthcare system are becoming increasingly complex, and it’s more important than ever to determine and incorporate my patients’ values and goals into their care plan.”
Born in Houston, Texas, Bethany received a BS from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Before relocating to Denver and joining Senior Care of Colorado in 2016, Bethany practiced as a hospitalist PA since 2012.
When she’s not working with seniors, Bethany enjoys getting outside with her husband and dog for hiking, snowshoeing, and snowboarding adventures.
